This is a refurbished DS Lite gaming system so it looks like a brand new system and works like a new one as well. Pretty cool looking system that is quite popular both locally and on here. Not a scratch on it guaranteed!! Works 100% guaranteed!! The graphics of a dragon wrapped around the top outside of the system do not wear off and it is definately not a sticker. This is airbrushed on at the factory that makes this shell and a clear coat covers it for extra protection. It will not wear off and I have customers that have purchased this very same style of system from me well over a year ago and they still have the graphics solidly on it to this day. Makes for a better resale value later. If you need help with repairs then please check out my repair listings on here they are very reasonable. Feel free to ask any questions about repair prices for any problems with a ds lite system that I dont have a listing for and I will get back to you within the day. I also accept trade-ins and always am in need of more systems to rebuild. Contact me if you have a working or non-working system you want to trade for money off the price of this system. I will give $20 trade in on this system for any ds lite system even if it is torn in two. I will do this as a refund of the price you paid after I receive it. This system is under warranty for 30 days from the day you receive it. If you buy one of the cheap "new" systems from one of the Hong Kong sellers get ahold of Nintendo right away once you get it and register it. If it is a genuine new Nintedo ds lite and not just a used one with a new shell and touch screen on it that is boxed with a set of instructions then Nintendo will recognize the number on it and will register it for you. If it is a refurbished one with a new outer shell and with a new touch screen that is boxed to look like new then you will find out since Nintendo will not recognize the number on the bottom of the system as one they have recently made. I have done alot of repairs and repaired some of those supposedly New systems for customers that couldnt get the seller to help them. I have seen several of these supposedly new systems have jumps running accross the board to re-instate burned out circuits. This is a common type of repair done to water damaged boards. If they where actually new then why where they already repaired for water damage the first time that they where opened up? Not pointing fingers necessarily but please check into it so that if they are doing this they can be stopped.

My next purchase was an $8 Cookie Monster toy (eats cookies) from Australia that my wife needed to support her Speech Pathology practice. Over the years I have bought and sold more than a million dollars worth of items on Ebay. Everything from Egyptian cotton socks (bought) to Lamborghini’s (bought and sold). After retiring, I decided to start a little Ebay business mostly to help my parents. They live on a fixed income and I thought Ebay could serve a couple of purposes. First, a little extra income for them couldn’t hurt. Second, it helps them stay actively involved in something both physically and mentally. They are my packaging and shipping department as well as bookkeeper. That is why you will see me sell everything from $.99 for containers of shredded money to Lamborghini’s (when I get bored and ready to move to the next toy). I obviously can’t support every request nor believe every request is legitimate but I am willing to consider requests. We made a shipping mistake (a huge one) and shipped a customer 2 diamond money clips and a gold watch when he only ordered a money clip. We have multiple shipping locations and obviously got confused. Luckily the customer notified us of the error and shipped back the "extra" goods. He said he was going to buy a Windows 7 from me so I told him that because he was so honest I would sell it to him for $99 (retails for $199). It makes me feel good when someone who could have easily kept all items has the integrity to do the right thing. It is rarely rewarded so I thought I should do something. The most recent story is a person won a $200 Shell gas card but I shipped him 3 $200 cards by mistake. He emailed me to let me know and I offered him 2 options, keep the 2 additional cards and send me $300 (a $100 savings) or I will refund him $50 for his honesty (he paid $200 for the card). He opted for the $50 refund and shipped back the other 2 cards. There still are nice and honest people in the world. I had a person who retired from the military but still needed to work full time email about a Nikon Coolpix P90 and thought he might not win the no reserve auction. He was right but I emailed him and said that the next Coolpix I got I would sell it to him at a great price for his service to our country. When he got it he emailed me and said I should see the smile on his face. I said he could now take a photo of his smile and send it to me. We need to support the people who put their lives on the line for us. Another woman emailed me that she was hoping to win a professional KitchenAid mixer but didn’t have much money. Her husband just passed away after 5 years with cancer. She quit work 3 years ago to take care of him but now she can’t find work. She used to work in a bakery and wanted the mixer to start a cake making/decorating business. I sold it to her for a great price and even still I told her she can owe me whatever she couldn’t pay. She’s been through a lot and I’m sure I can trust her to repay me. I’ve been very fortunate most of my life but understand what it’s like to need a hand every once in a while. She sent me photos of cakes she’s decorated (she has talent). Everyone needs help and to be trusted sometime, I am lucky to be able to help (occasionally). People often email me with their story but not asking for anything. That is when I usually choose to help out. I am not looking to be scammed (no one does). But I would rather take the chance and help someone rather than never help anyone so I don’t get taken advantage of. Like I said, I’m a risk taker. I trust my customers to be honest and hopefully that works in the long run. Now you know a little about who you are buying from (if you decided to read this whole thing).

The system is in great condition but there are some scuffs on the exterior. This is system only no hard drive wires or controller, it will make a great replacement system.
