The PlayStation does not work and I'm not to sure what's wrong with it and is being sold for parts and repair only. It may just need a simple fix, or it may require more extensive repair. Hello all. Up for auction is a almost mint 40 GIG Sony Playstation 3 (MODEL: CECHG01) (does not turn on due to Yellow Light Of Death!) or YLOD. This unit was working fine one day, and all of a sudden it automatically shut off during a dvd movie. no power afterwards, but now it only shows a brief yellow light indication and then shuts down. (Stuck DVD inside!) My loss is your gain!
